Lion Country Ferrari is a fast music band from Asheville, North Carolina. Their songs sound like a Swiss watch that’s being repeatedly run over by semi-trucks on a stretch of merciless Florida highway. Or the snore of the 30-year old musician asleep on your couch, his glowing phone sitting on his chest, brightness up all the way. Or the second that straddles the gap between the euphoria of huffing gasoline and the crushing knowledge of precisely what you’re doing to yourself. If this sounds horrible, that’s fine — Lion Country Ferrari sounds like one more muffled post-punk band while you’re taking a smoke break outside. Either works.
