Clouded vision caused by cataracts can make it difficult to read, drive a car or see the expression on a friend’s face. At first, stronger lighting and eyeglasses may help, but if impaired vision interferes with your daily activities surgery may be an option.
Join an expert from Mayo Clinic to learn more about the symptoms and causes of cataracts. You will learn about the benefits and risks of cataract surgery and what to expect if you require surgery. You will also learn about lifestyle intraocular lenses that can, for example, correct astigmatism, and a new laser that can perform a good portion of the cataract surgery. At Mayo Clinic, we have a multidisciplinary team of experts that will work together to provide exactly the care you need.
