- Navigating the Network: A session on understanding the various choices families have in providing their loved one with safe, professional care, whether it’s at home, in a skilled nursing facility, assisted, or independent living. - How Do I Pay for Care and What are My Options?: A discussion on Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, and private insurance to cover long-term care costs. Speakers Megan Wall, attorney, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and Bubba Schlader, VA and long-term care benefits specialists.
- Panel Discussion with Caregivers: Hear valuable insights from those who have “walked the walk” and those still on the journey. Panelists include Cheryl Jefferson and Marc Dickerson.
- Laughter Yoga with Amanda Jones
