“more razzle-dazzle than any other festive film.” – UK Film Review
“first-class entertainment.” – New York Daily Review
Start the season with Irving Berlin, Technicolor, and a Vermont inn in need of saving. Join us for a big-screen showing of White Christmas (1954), the Michael Curtiz musical starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen. It was the top-grossing film of its year and has been a holiday tradition ever since.
Two Army buddies turned song-and-dance stars follow a sister act to a struggling Vermont lodge and put on a show to save it. It was also the first film shot in VistaVision, so it looks especially good on a large screen.
