In 2021, the city of Jacksonville hired its first-ever chief resilience officer, who ever since has been gathering and analyzing data and talking to experts in search of local solutions to issues that are being exacerbated by climate change, including flooding from sea level rise and extreme heat. Now, CRO Anne Coglianese has put her findings into a strategy that will help the city emerge stronger and better prepared for what’s to come.
