Cancer Care & Individualized Medicine

A Free Interactive Health Forum

mc_event_doctors_01

Approximately 115,000 new cancer cases are diagnosed in Florida each year, according to the American Cancer Society. The most common cancers are prostate, breast, lung and colorectal cancers. On the rise are blood cancers, liver, thyroid, uterine, melanoma and bladder cancers. And although survival rates for all cancers have improved in the past five years, cancer is the #1 killer in our state.

Join experts from Mayo Clinic for a free, informational evening to learn more about cancer care and the role of individualized medicine. Led by a panel of physicians from Mayo Clinic, this interactive discussion will include details on how precision medicine impacts your care and the availability of new treatment options for cancer. Learn more about the Mayo Clinic BioBank and its role in individualized medicine. A genetics counselor will also be on hand.

This event is free, but space is limited and reservations are required. Refreshments provided. Please RSVP online by April 6.
