Dr. Strangelove

NT Live: Dr. Strangelove

The Cold War heats up in this explosive new stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s iconic film.

From the team behind The 39 Steps comes a fast-paced, wildly inventive theatrical take on Dr. Strangelove—the jet-black comedy about nuclear paranoia, political absurdity, and one man’s very peculiar plan to end the world.

Steve Coogan (in multiple roles) leads a powerhouse cast in this razor-sharp satire, directed by Sean Foley and adapted by Armando Iannucci (Veep, The Thick of It) and Sean Foley.

Captured live from London’s West End and broadcast via National Theatre Live, this is bold, biting, and brilliantly British theatre at its best.

Buckle up for a night of outrageous laughter, Cold War chaos, and theatrical brilliance.
