Each month, Jax PBS from WJCT Public Media conducts fun and engaging multi-generational learning experiences at early learning centers across Jacksonville. Children and caregivers build, create, play, and share during these sessions. The PBS KIDS Family & Community model is proven to improve learning outcomes and promote children’s school success by preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. This program also strengthens and maintains the parent-school relationship, opening communication channels and maximizing the collaboration between all the caregivers in a child’s circle of care.
