WJCT Public Broadcasting Closes Its Online Auction
Thanks First Coast Community for Its Support of Long-Running Fundraiser Program

(Jacksonville, FL, August 25, 2017); WJCT Public Broadcasting announces the closing of its long-running auction which has been part of WJCT’s fundraising programs for more than fifty years. WJCT President and CEO Michael Boylan says, “As we focus our fundraising efforts in other areas, it was decided to discontinue WJCT’s auction. We appreciate the support from the First Coast community for helping make the auctions so successful for more than half a century! We thank all the businesses, organizations and individuals who donated items to the WJCT Auction through the years.”

For years the WJCT Great Auction was broadcast via television and during the last decade, with the growth of digital technology, the auction transitioned to an online service with featured pop-out events including a travel and entertainment, holiday and summer sizzle special auction dates.
