WJCT Launches First-of-its-Kind Streaming Bundle of PBS Passport and BritBox
Newest member benefit combines streaming services to provide access to the largest and best collection of British content
Dec. 7, 2020 — Jacksonville, Fla. — WJCT Public Media today launched its newest member benefit: a streaming package of PBS Passport and BritBox, called the “Jax Bundle.” This exclusive combination, the first of its kind for PBS Passport and BritBox, provides WJCT supporters with access to the finest and largest collection of British programming to view anytime, anywhere and from any device through one sign-up process.
The Jax Bundle launch coincides with a sustained increase in demand for British television and films, as consumers seek new ways to access quality entertainment at home. According to the August 2020 Nielsen Total Audience Report, streaming content accounted for 25% of consumers’ collective time spent with television programming.
This bundle expands the robust collection of programming already available to WJCT supporters through PBS Passport by providing access to BritBox with over 4,000 hours of British comedy, drama, mystery, documentary, lifestyle, news and special live events — direct from the BBC and ITV — immediately following registration.

New supporters can sign up for $14.90 per month or $149 per year.
Proceeds support WJCT’s mission of bringing people together to celebrate human diversity, experience lifelong learning and actively engage in matters of civic importance.
PBS Passport offers a rich library of quality PBS programming featuring top dramas such as Flesh and Blood and three seasons of Victoria, mysteries such as Grantchester starring Tom Brittney and Endeavour in addition to full seasons of many current and past series of your favorite shows.
BritBox’s timeless collection includes favorites such as Father Brown, Inspector Morse, and the largest collection of Agatha Christie adaptations, plus modern mysteries such as A Confession starring Martin Freeman and unmissable comedies like There She Goes starring David Tennant and Gavin & Stacey starring James Corden and more.
